We want to be able to remember more, know more and learn more, this means children developing their knowledge and skills within our curriculum and their own personal interests, but also adults developing their practice, learning from one another and sharing wisdom with the children we are lucky enough to work with. As part of this we are becoming more resourceful, being able to adapt - using what we have available to us - to become successful and ensure that we are continuously present, giving everything our total effort.
In our community, want to instil a love and respect about our environment, whether this be our school environment, the local area or global, physical or environmental. Not only do we care about our environment but we want to ensure we have the knowledge and capabilities to not only identify, research and understand issues but to help do something about them. We are lucky enough to attend school in a wonderful environment each day, and we want to ensure that we appreciate, respect and maintain that.
Our future is ever-changing, for children and adults. This is why we see it as essential that we develop into: independent people who are capable of thinking and acting for ourselves, philosophical learners who are able to absorb information and reach educated conclusions, confident humans that can use these characteristics to make a positive difference in their own, and other peoples, lives; ensuring there is hope for the future.
