PROPOSAL to CONVERT to ACADEMY STATUS

Our consulation began on Monday 25th April, 2016. The Governing Body are proposing to convert to Academy status as part of the Lincoln Anglican Academy Trust (LAAT). We will remain a distinct and seperate school, whilst continuing to work closely with our local and regional partners.

This is a dialogue that we have had in school over a number of years. We are confident that this will open positive and exciting opportunities for us to celebrate everything we are passionate about for our pupils - including maintaining our diverse and enriched curriculum.

It will end on Monday 23rd May, 2016 at midday. THE CONSULATION PERIOD HAS NOW ENDED. GOVERNORS MET on 23.05.2016 PM, and voted to proceed with conversion.

Conversion due to take place from September 1st, 2016.

All parents, families, staff and governors have received letters via Parentmail or as paper copies.

A questionnaire to families went out on Parentmail in the week beginning Monday 25th April, 2016. QUESTIONNAIRE FEEDBACK AND SUMMARY OF RESPONSES NOW LINKED BELOW...

Community groups closely linked with the school have also been consulted. These include;

  • The Grimsthorpe and Drummond Castle Estate
  • Edenham, Grimsthorpe, Elsthorpe and Scottlethorpe Parish Council
  • Toft, Lound and Manthorpe Parish Council
  • Witham on the Hill Parish Council
  • Edenham Pre-School

Responses were recieved from Lady Willoughby, Witham and Toft Parish Councils, and Edenham Parish Council.
